Two quotes for the same size can differ by a wide margin because they are quoting different condition grades. Start with what the container is intended to do, then set expectations about appearance: used containers can show visible signs of prior service.

A used container is not a cosmetically new one at a lower price. Cargo Worthy, Wind & Water Tight and Economy containers can show visible signs of prior service — that is normal for the grade and is not the same thing as a functional problem.
When you compare quotes, compare grades first. Then check that the warranty terms quoted match the grade, and keep the two together in writing.

A dual inspection process gives buyers an additional quality-control checkpoint before delivery. The goal is simple: help confirm that the container being delivered matches the condition and functional grade that was ordered.
The specific inspection checkpoints will be published here once the operational workflow is confirmed.
